Gauhati University classes for undergraduate degree courses from November 1

GUWAHATI: As per a new academic calendar issued by Gauhati University for 2020-21 and 2021-22 academic sessions on Thursday (October 10), the classes for undergraduate degree courses will start from November 1.

Today's notification states that the admissions for both the undergraduate and postgraduate students will be completed by October 31 and the classes for undergraduate odd semesters in the affiliated colleges and university campus will commence from November 1.

As per the new academic calendar of Gauhati University, the Postgraduate (PG) third-semester classes in affiliated colleges, as well as the university campus, will also start on November 1. The postgraduate first semester classes will start on November 18. The next semester-end examinations for undergraduate and postgraduate courses would be held between March 8 and March 26 next year, the GU calendar added.
