GD Dhanuka conferred with honorary doctorate

GUWAHATI: In recognition of his professional achievements, Ghanshyam Das Dhanuka (son of Ashok Dhanuka) has recently been conferred with an honorary doctorate as 'Doctor of Business Administration' jointly by the International Business School Washington, USA and College de Paris, France. He has a Bachelor's degree from LSE and a Masters from LUMS (U.K.) besides Leadership programs with Harvard Business School and IIM and an LLB degree.

He is engaged in diversified industry segments with a primary focus in the Pharmaceuticals and Cosmetics Industry (GRD Pharmaceuticals). The company's vision is to provide affordable and quality healthcare and personal hygiene products to the masses. They were the first to manufacture hand sanitizers (Handuser-C) in NE India, since 2012.

His philanthropic initiatives span across healthcare, education and animal care. He is also the founding member of the YPO, North East India and the EO, Assam.

He was also recently awarded the 'Visionary Leader in Assam and North East' for the year 2020 by the prestigious TIMES Group.
