Girl Dies In Accident Near Games Village, Guwahati

GUWAHATI: A girl, Sweety Nato, died on the spot when the Scooty (AS01BE2067) she was riding on was hit by a Bolero Pick-up vehicle near the Games Village here on Saturday night. The Bolero Pick-up first hit an e-rickshaw and then hit the Scooty. Ganga Devi, who was riding pillion, sustained injuries. Basistha police arrested the driver of the Bolero Pick-up, Ajit Singh, from the Nalapara area.
