Global award for former journalist and social activist Duina Barbaruah

GUWAHATI: Former journalist and social activist Duina Barbaruah was awarded the prestigious Global Inspirational Award 2022 in London, United Kingdom recently.

Founder president of the Asian Academy of Film and Television and Indian film producer-director, Sandeep Marwah and Padmashree Kalpana Saroj gave away the award to Barbaruah in recognition of her outstanding contribution as a journalist and social worker for the betterment of humanity, stated a press release.
