GMC along with Fire & Emergency Services continues sanitization drive to prevent COVID-19

GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Municipal Corporation along with the teams of Fire and Emergency Services continued the sanitization drive to tackle the corona outbreak in the state, on Friday. Three teams of the GMC are carrying out the sanitization process.

The teams assembled at Volvo point and covered Nehru Stadium, Ulubari, Lachit Nagar road to Big Bazar via Rajgarh Road, Volvo point Paltan Bazar both side up to Bhangagarh, Ulubari Point to Nepali Mandir via BK Kakati Road (Right side), Sarabhati, Ak Azad Road.

Among public places and markets, the teams covered Ayushchandra Clinic, Hanuman Mandir, Brand Factory/Trends, Soniram Bora Path, Ulubari HS, SB Deorah College, Green Path, Kanaklata Path, Hub shopping Mall, SBI (Bhangagarh) and Regional Fund Office.

On Thursday, team one covered Lamb road from Latasil field to Ambari, GNB road from Ambari to Buda Masjid, MC road from Guwahati Club to Barowari, MG road from Latasil Point to DC Bunglow, CM Residence road including CM Residence, Uzan Bazar Fish Market etc.

The second team covered Uzan bazaar market, MC Road, Islam patty Uzan Bazar, SRS road Uzan Bazar up-to Ganesh Mandir via Jusitce colony including quarters, residential area nearby Justice colony, Borthakur clinic road etc. Another team covered GNB road from Guwahati club up-to Chandmari fly over, Silpukhuri Market, Surrounding of Silpukhuri, Nabagrah road part, Assam Tribune Campus, PWD Chief Engineer Campus, Chandmari Colony Namghar and Chandmari Thana, All India Radio office etc.
