GMC Initiates Clean-up Drive in Guwahati
The Commissioner of Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) has initiated a clean-up drive in the city as a part of the Swachh Bharat Mission.
GUWAHATI: As a part of the Swachh Bharat Mission, the Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) Commissioner has initiated a mega clean-up drive in Guwahati city.
The drive entails enforcing penalty on the licensee who throws waste on the roads. Licensees imposed with penalty would not be eligible to renew their licenses automatically until they obtain No Objection Certificate from Executive Engineer of the GMC. The GMC has urged everyone to join hands in making Guwahati clean and green.
