GMC sealed Samsung Smart Plaza in Rajdhani Masjid for illegally selling groceries, poultry

GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Municipal Corporation, on Monday, sealed the Samsung Smart Plaza in Rajdhani Masjid for allegedly selling stale groceries and poultry products illegally.

After receiving public complaints with photographic evidence, a team of GMC raided the aforesaid trade premise and found them of selling stale vegetables and poultry products in large quantities. They were found disposing stale fishes and meat near Barak Residency. Apart from selling and storing stale groceries illegally, the electronic shop Samsung Smart Plaza was running without obtaining trade license for both.

The team was headed by GMC Additional Commissioner Dwijen Singh and the shop was sealed in presence of Dispur Police Staion ACP and mediapersons.
