Gogoimari Police arrested a Dacoit
A dacoit was arrested in connection with a looting case by Gogoimari police on January 13, 2021. The accused is identified as one Gajibur Rahman
GUWAHATI, Jan 17: Gogoimari police arrested a dacoit, Gajibur Rahman on January 13, 2021 in connection with the looting of Rs 3 lakh from a truck by a five-member gang at Khanapara on December 17, 2020.
A case (3214/20) was filed in that connection at Dispur Police Station. Gajibur Rahman has been brought to Dispur Police Station. According to the police, the trucker also hails from Goroimari and he came to Guwahati to purchase betel nut. He was followed by a five -member gang with a car and looted from him Rs 3 lakh at Khanapara. The other members of the gang have been absconding.
