Gold biscuits seized, one arrested by Government Railway Police

GUWAHATI: Government Railway Police (GRP) on Tuesday arrested a person who was trying to smuggle gold biscuits.

Sanjib Sarma, a resident of Muzafardar in Bihar, was on his way from Dimapur to Bihar on the Rajdhani Express No 2423. He had concealed six gold biscuits by tying them in his stomach with cloth. GRP personnel seized the gold biscuits and arrested him.
