Gold Smuggled In The Form of Wheels of A Trolley Bag In Guwahati Railway Station

GUWAHATI: The smugglers have acquired new techniques in smuggling goods in the city it would seem. However, the smuggling bid must have foiled because the consignment was abandoned outside platform 1, Guwahati Railway Satation.

Smugglers have devised various ways to smuggle gold in the past. Cases of people hiding it inside cell-phones, some even in their rectum, some in shoes, inside books, and many other ways were common in the past. This time, the gold was attached to the wheels of a trolley bag.

Government Railway Police (GRP) found a trolley bag abandoned outside platform 1 of Guwahati Railway Station. Three wheels of the bag were made out of 1200 grams gold. Authorities suspect that the bag must have arrived in Down Rajdhani Express.
