Goons attack NSUI leader Zubair Anam Mazumdar

GUWAHATI: State NSUI (National Students' Union of India) vice president Zubair Anam Mazumdar lodged an FIR at Dispur Police Station stating that he was attacked by a gang of goons in the wee hours on Sunday. According to the FIR, some goons came to his Kabarsthan Road, Dwarandha at Six Mile here at 2 am on Sunday and attacked him with sharp weapons, bamboo sticks etc. Hearing his outcry, his brother came to his rescue when his neighbours to gathered, the FIR said. "When the goons made an attempt to flee as the people of the locality were chasing them, I show a person sitting on the car with an assault rifle of AK series," the FIR said.
