Gorchuk Police arrested two mobile thieves in Baihata Chariali

GUWAHATI: The Gorchuk Police has arrested two mobile thieves in connection to a theft case (83/2021) registered at the police station. The accused have been identified as Rafiqul Alom (33) and Kamaluddin Ahmed (30). Both are residents of Malda district in West Bengal. The police stated that the duo came to Assam to commit theft and were arrested recently from Madanpur in Baihata Chariali.

A total of 27 mobile phones and a car have been seized from their possession. According to the police, the accused have stated that they bought the phones from another person.
