Gorchuk Police Arrested 2 Persons with Suspected Drugs in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: The Gorchuk Police on Wednesday arrested two persons from the Katabari area with three grams of suspected heroin.

The accused have been identified as — Safiq Ahmed (23) from Chaygaon and Bapon Bonik (35) from Birubari. A case (364/21) under section 22 (a) of the NDPS Act has been registered by the Gorchuk Police. The duo is currently under judicial custody.
