Government Railway Police (GRP) seized 20 quintals of elaichi in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: The Government Railway Police (GRP) on Wednesday seized around 20 quintals of elaichi at the Guwahati Railway Station which was being smuggled from Dimapur to New Jalpaiguri. According to reports, the worth of the seized consignment is Rs 2.40 crore. In another operation, the GRP seized 57 bags of supari.
