GU grants leave to staff to watch 'The Kashmir Files'

Guwahati: The Gauhati University (GU) announced half day's leave for all the university staff, including officers and teachers, to enable them to view the movie 'The Kashmir Files'. According to GU sources, this half-day leave will be in addition to other normally entitled leave.

However, an employee must first obtain permission from the appropriate reporting authority and then present the movie ticket to his or her assigned office the next working day, the sources said.
