Guwahati Bihu Sanmilani to observe Rongali Bihu festival at Latasil from April 14

GUWAHATI: Guwahati Bihu Sanmilani will observe the Rongali Bihu festival at the Latasil Playground from April 14 to 17.

Various competitions will be held during the celebrations, including — Diha Naaam competition for women on April 14, Jeng Bihu competition on April 15, Bihu Rani/Bihu Konwori competition on April 16, and Bihu Samragi on April 17. It is to be noted that the Guwahati Bihu Sanmillani at Latasil is the oldest Bihu venue in Assam. It has been holding Bihu programmes since 1952.
