Guwahati City Buses Flouting Rules, Licenses Seized

GUWAHATI: The recent changes in the Panjabari to Adabari bus routes through VIP, Narengi, Chandmari, was made keeping in mind the constant traffic congestion in the Zoo road due to construction of the new flyover. However, some city buses had decided to openly refute the instructions and take their previous routes. In this regard, two buses were caught on Thursday and four more on Friday breaking the rules and taking the Ganeshguri route. Their licenses have been seized and a non-FIR issued.
