Guwahati City Glitters With Festive Spirit

GUWAHATI: The yuletide spirit has gripped the city of Guwahati as locals were seen celebrating Christmas with utmost fervour. Shops are seen glittering with beautifully decorated trees and a huge star adorned most of the houses in the city. Makeshift kiosks are set up in different parts of the city in preparation of the festive season with New Year right around the corner. The churches were packed with people as various programs were organized to entertain and depict the life of Jesus Christ.

The commercial establishments too have come up with special offers and perks in sync with the holiday spirit.
