Guwahati city police seized drugs worth Rs 250 crore in 2022

GUWAHATI: Guwahati Police seized drugs worth around Rs 250 crore in 2022. Smugglers and peddlers often tried their best to adopt newer ways, but the city police were successful in foiling their attempts.

The major seizure during the year includes 12 kg heroin, 13 methamphetamine, 10 lakh yaba tablets etc. Guwahati Police also busted some inter-state networks of drugs. The police gave a phone number (6026901246) to give drug-related information.
