Guwahati Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) sealed Illegally-built building

GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) on Saturday carried out a raid on the SRCB Road in the Fancy Bazar area and sealed an illegally-constructed building. GMDA sources said that one Manoj Kumar Singh had constructed the building without obtaining the necessary official permission.

The GMDA had earlier issued a show-cause notice to Singh in this connection but received no response, the sources said. Consequently, the building was sealed on Saturday, the sources added.
