Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) Commissioner Debasish Sharma Transferred

GUWAHATI: The State Government on Friday carried out a reshuffle of senior officers.

According to an official Notification, the Commissioner of the Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC), Devasish Sharma has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner of Morigaon, while retaining the post of Joint Resident Commissioner of Assam Bhawan, Mumbai (additional).

The incumbent Deputy Commissioner of Morigaon, Prakash Ranjan Gharphalia, has been transferred and posted as Secretary of the Housing and Urban Affairs Department.

Sadnek Singh, currently serving as Joint Secretary of the Transformation and Development Department, has been transferred and posted as the Deputy Commissioner of Udalguri and Secretary of the Bodoland Territorial Region (additional).

Megha Nidhi Dahal, currently serving as Deputy Commissioner of Sivasagar, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner of the GMC.

P Uday Praveen, currently serving as Deputy Commissioner of Udalguri and Secretary of the Bodoland Territorial Region, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner of Golaghat.

Aditya Vikram Yadav, currently serving as Joint Secretary of the General Administration Department and Staff Officer to the Chief Secretary of Assam, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner of Sivasagar.

Mrigesh Narayan Barua, currently serving as Deputy Commissioner of Golaghat, has been transferred and posted as Joint Secretary of the Chief Minister's Secretariat.
