Guwahati Municipal Corporation removes illegal banner from flyover of Falcon Festival 2021

GUWAHATI: The Enforcement Branch of the Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) carried out a drive against illegal banners on the newly inaugurated Supermarket flyover on Thursday.

The drive was taken out against violation of recent public property defacement notification. The banner which was taken down pertains to the upcoming Falcon Festival-2021 to be held at Umrangso in Dima Hasao district and organised by the Falcon Festival Celebration Committee, Haflong. The GMC said that the defacement of the flyover by erecting illegal banners is contrary to the public property defacement notification.
