Guwahati: One Nabbed With Fake Currency & Ganja

Guwahati: Jorabat Police on Sunday arrested a person with fake currency and ganja at the Guwahati-Shillong road.

Reportedly, police acted on a tip-off and intercepted a three-wheeler which was heading from Guwahati railway station towards Shillong.

After frisking the vehicle, a person named Namunuddin was apprehended and with fake currency and 27kgs of ganja.

According to reports, Namunuddin travelled from Agartala to Guwahati by train.

However, after taking him into their custody, police have started to investigate the matter.
