Guwahati Police arrested one person with heroin from ISBT

GUWAHATI: Acting on a tip-off, the Guwahati Police arrested a person with 6 gm of suspected heroin from the ISBT Tiniali Service Road here on Wednesday.
The accused have been identified as Mistal Hoque (28). During interrogation, the accused stated that he received the drugs from one Ahmed at the Kamakhya Railway Station on Wednesday.
In this regard, a case has been registered at Gorchuk Police Station vide case no- 410 /2021 U/S-22(b) of NDPS Act. Further investigation is on.
