Guwahati Police found explosives from vehicle, 2 held

GUWAHATI: City Police have seized explosives from a vehicle and seized two persons on Friday.

On searching the vehicle, they found 13 bags of explosive substances and devices without any documents (gelatin sticks 4,660 pieces and 2,300 pieces of electric detonators. The driver and another occupant of the vehicle were apprehended and brought to the Police Station along with the vehicle, and bags of explosives.

The apprehended persons are: Ainal Ali and Rahim Badsha. Ainal Ali (27) hails from Ganabinna village under Abhayapuri Police Station in Bongaigaon.

On the other hand, Rahim Badsha (26) is from Ganabinna Village under Abhayapuri Police Station in Bongaigaon.
