Guwahati: Senior Doctor Falls To Death From 7th Floor of AIIMS

Guwahati: A senior resident doctor of the All India Institute Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Guwahati on Wednesday died after falling off the seventh floor of the building.

According to reports, the deceased doctor was identified as Pholgu Pratim Das.

The reports claimed that he fell off the seventh floor of the building while clicking a selfie.

Following the incident, Das was immediately rushed to GNRC hospital in Amingaon, however, he succumbed to his injuries while on the way to the hospital.

The police have launched a thorough investigation into the case.
