Guwahati: Youth Brutally Stabbed In City's Silpukhri Area
Guwahati: A group of boys brutally stabbed a youth with a knife in broad daylight in city's Silpukhri here on Wednesday.
As per reports, the victim named Deepak Rai, a resident of Lokhra was immediately rushed to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) in critical condition.
However, the reason behind the attack has not been ascertained by the police.
Meanwhile, the police have launched a manhunt to nab the culprit in connection to the case.
In a similar incident in May this year, a man was stabbed to death by a few miscreants at Athkheliya Charingia village in Golaghat district in Assam.
The deceased who has been identified as Dwipen Das was stabbed with a sharp weapon.
In the incident, Das's wife and son were also injured in the incident and they were rushed to Jorhat Medical and Hospital (JMCH).
