Guwahati Yuba Nagarik Samity Suggests Dispur not to Conduct HSLC and HS Exams

Guwahati Yuba Nagarik Samity (GYNS) president and academician Er Kailash Sarma has suggested the State government not to conduct the HSLC (High School Leaving Certification Examination) and HS (Higher Secondary) examinations due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation.

GUWAHATI: Guwahati Yuba Nagarik Samity (GYNS) president and academician Er Kailash Sarma has suggested the State government not to conduct the HSLC (High School Leaving Certification Examination) and HS (Higher Secondary) examinations due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation.

Er. Sarma suggested Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma to follow the rules of CBSE, ICSE respectively and also requested him to introduce the same procedure which has been applied by the Government of India.

"It is high time to take an appropriate decision under the dynamic leadership of Himanta Biswa Sarma to protect the lives of the students of the State. Otherwise, it may be a cause of a manmade disaster," said Er. Sarma.
