GVK EMRI-State Government MoU ends on Sept 30

GUWAHATI, Sept 20: The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) of GVK EMRI with Department of Health & FW, Government of Assam for providing Mrityunjoy 108 Emergency services and 102 Inter Facility Service(IFT) will come to an end on September 30, 2018 vide letter dated July 10, 2018 bearing number 74450/NHM-24011/7/2018-referal transport/9158. This has been stated in a press release.

As per the terms of employment/service rules employment contract of all employees of 108 and 102 with GVK EMRI will come to an end and on September 30, 2018 as these services is co-terminus with GVK EMRI’s agreement with Government of Assam, the release stated.

With award of new contract between GVK EMRI and Government of Assam, GVK EMRI will start a fresh operation in the state of Assam with re hiring people from existing operation based on their satisfactory performance in their current job and also by hiring fresh people and providing them adequate training, the release said.

GVK EMRI has handed over all ambulances and its assets to Government of Assam as per the terms of the contract.

GVK EMRI will again start process of taking over Ambulances and other assets from Government of Assam as per the terms and after award of the new contract, as per the release. GVK EMRI extends its gratitude towards Government of Assam for providing opportunity to serve people of Assam for over decade. Also GVK EMRI assures Government of Assam for its committed quality service for the people of Assam post award of new contract.

GVK EMRI also request people of Assam for their co operation and support for any in convenience caused to them during the process of handing over and taking over with Government of Assam, the release added.
