Hatigaon police arrested Three burglars in Sijubari

GUWAHATI: Hatigaon police arrested two youths – Anwar Hussain (34) and Sanowar Hussain (25) both hailing from Lakhipur in Goalpara district – while they were trying to burgle a building in the Sijubari area under Hatigaon police station on Friday night. Third youth, Habijur Rahman (19) who fled the scene last night was also arrested on Saturday from Khanka. He also hails from Lakhipur.
A case (114/2020 u/s 380/511) has been registered in this connection. Tools that are generally used to open or break doors, windows etc were recovered from their possession.
