GUWAHATI: Assam State Ayurved Congress organized a Health Awareness cum free Health check-up camp at Gotanagar, Guwahati with an aim to spread the knowledge of health through Ayurveda in collaboration with Gotanagar Sewak sangha, Gotanagar on February 24, 2019 from 3 pm onwards. The general secretary, Dr Ganesh Chandra Dev Sarmah, Executive member Dr Dipak kumar Goswami and members Dr Biswaji Das and Dr Naba Kumar Hazarika delivered lecture on the rich heritage of Ayurvedic system of medicine in prevention and cure of the desieses. They also said that, people can get almost side effect free health service from Ayurvedic system of medicine.
As per a press release, the participants were also informed about the aims and objectives of Ayurvedic Congress and expressed heartiest thanks to the people for their support and co-operation. They highlighted the superiority of Ayurvedic medicine and invited the people to come forward to enjoy the services of the system. The doctors discussed about the common health problems and sufferings of the participants and provided them required advice to prevent the diseases.After the discussion, there was health check-up where about 50 patients of different age group were examined and were served with some medicines and prescriptions.
