Himanta Biswa Sarma greets 'Steely' 100-year old Covid survivor, praises MMCH doctors

100-year-old Mai Handique recovered from the deadly coronavirus, Himanta Biswa Sarma and team hailed her will power.

Guwahati: Assam Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma visited one of the oldest COVID survivors on Wednesday. Taking to Twitter, Sarma called the 100-year-old survivor Mai Handique as 'Steely' and also said that she is giving everyone a lesson in having the right will power. He also praised the doctors of Mahendra Mohan Choudhury Hospital for their support in treating the strong warrior.

Steely resolve of 100-year-old Mai Handique is monumental. With brilliant support of doctors at MMCH, she defeated #coronavirus, giving us a lesson in having right will power.
