Home isolated COVID-19 patient dies at his residence in Pandu area

GUWAHATI: A person who was under home isolation breathed his last at his residence at Ananda Nagar in Pandu area on Monday evening.

The deceased, Govinda Chakraborty was 70 years old. According to reports, the Health Department took his swab samples on July 11 and was he was declared COVID-19 positive on July 14. After discussing with the Health Department officials, the person was getting treatment at home by following the COVID protocol.

However, till the time of filing this report, it has not been confirmed by the health department whether the person died due to COVID-19 or any other disease.
