Huge quantum of ganja recovered at Guwahati Railway Station

GUWAHATI: Sleuths of Crime Intelligence Branch of RPF on Tuesday recovered 15 packets of ganja weighing 24 kg from a toilet in Kamrup Express at Guwahati Railway Station. The RPF later handed over the consignment to Narcotic Control Bureau. The market price of the seized ganja has been estimated to be around Rs 1.68 lakh. On other hand the GRPF also recovered 50 kg of this intoxicant from Rajdhani Express at Guwahati Railway Station and arrested two persons identified as Chittaranjan Gupta (55) and Madhu Gupta (40). The arrested persons hailed from West Delhi and they boarded the Rajdhani Express at Dimapur in Nagaland on their way to Delhi.
