IIE Guwahati to implement entrepreneurship programme

 GUWAHATI: The Directorate of Employment and Craftsman Training, Government of Assam, has entrusted IIE Guwahati to implement a series of Entrepreneurship Development Programmes (EDP) in 44 ITIs in Assam. The first batch of the series was inaugurated on Monday by Mousumi Sen, Joint Director of DECT at ITI Birubari, in the presence of Prasanta Goswami, Associate Faculty, IIE, Principal, and faculties of ITI and officials of IIE, Guwahati.

The objective of the programme is to endorse the budding youth, prove their capacity, and provide handholding support to the beneficiaries so that they could also start their own endeavours in the field of entrepreneurship. A total of 31 students from the ITI had participated in the programme, stated a press release.
