GUWAHATI: The Assam Police seized 6,89,683 illegal and illicit liquor worth Rs 5,54,31,160 and destroyed them from December 1, 2020 to March 12, 2021.
According to police report, 77344 litres of IMFL (Indian Made Foreign Liquor) worth Rs 3,09,37,600; as many as 6,154 litres of country-made liquor worth Rs 2,46,160 and 6,06,185 litres of illicit liquor worth Rs 2,42,47,400 were seized and destroyed during the period.
