'Indradhanush – 2022 Kal Aaj Aur Kal' underway in Guwahati Regional Centre

GUWAHATI: The Centre for Cultural Resources and Training, Under the Ministry of Culture, the Government of India is organizing a programme "Indradhanush – 2022 Kal Aaj Aur Kal" with effect from May 21 to June 1, 2022, in New Delhi and its other regional centres.

Guwahati Regional Centre has conducted two workshops in two government schools – Cotton Collegiate Higher Secondary School, Panbazar, Guwahati and Satgaon High School, Sataon, Guwahati – covering around 700 students. The students of both the schools enthusiastically took part in various activities like Visual Arts and Performing Arts. They learnt crafts like making items from waste materials, terracotta, mask making, puppetry, bookbinding, folk painting, etc. The students have also learnt songs in various Indian languages, movement & mime and folk dances.

The students exhibited various craft items and performed folk dances and songs at the function. All the activities had the theme "Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav – Celebrating the 75th Anniversary of India's Independence", a press release said.
