Integration Day today centrally at Morigaon

GUWAHATI, June 9: Under the aegis of the All Marigaon District Students’ Union, the All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) is going to centrally observe the integration day with a daylong programme at Bhurbandha area in Morigaon district on June 10. Notably, commemorating the martyrs duo late Gajen Ingti and Putul Saikia who sacrificed their lives in the 1974 economic and food movement of the state and to defeat the divisive conspiracy plotted by the State machinery, the AASU has been observing integration day every year on June 10.
