Inter-school quiz competition held at Assam Down Town University (ADTU)

GUWAHATI: The mega finals of the inter-school quiz competition organised by the Assam Down Town University (ADTU) for the students from class 9 to class 12 was held on Saturday at the ADTU premises.

The competition, which started on October 1, witnessed a record participation of more than 150 schools from across the State and was conducted in 6 regional phases.

Attending the mega final event, ADTU Chancellor Dr NN Dutta said that quiz competition is an humble effort in bringing together brilliant young minds together while collaborating and learning from each other’s knowledge and experiences.

The winners of the competition received a cash prize of Rs 20,000 along with a trophy and certificates while the second position received a cash prize of Rs 10,000 and certificates and accordingly the third received a cash prize of Rs 5,000 and certificates.
