ITFAA Ropes In Barsha Rani Bishoya To Showcase At Maniram Dewan Trade Centre

GUWAHATI: A first of its kind in Assam, the 26th International Guwahati Trade Fair has joined hands with prominent Assamese film actress Barsha Rani Bishoya as its brand ambassador.

Never before has a Trade Exposition in Assam has appointed a film personality as its brand ambassador. Barsha Rani Bishoya has acted in mobile theatres and cinemas.

Industries and Trade Fair Association of Assam (ITFAA), which is organizing this fair with the support of Joya Communication and NSIC, Government of India from September 27 to October 14, 2019 at Maniram Dewan Trade Centre has always believed in innovation, creativity and tried its level best to offer new things to the visitors.

A few years back, ITFAA organized a programme on Assamese Film Industry titled RENNAISANCE where for the first time Assamese film actors and actresses performed live on stage. The event was widely covered by media across the country and even streamed live by National Television Channels. This year, ITFAA is planning to start the festival season for Guwahatians from September 27 with a line-up of attractive programmes, participation of foreign countries and national big names. There will be a Mega Fashion Show with models from Mumbai. A cooking contest which has become a regular part of IGTF will also be organized this year in a big way with attractive prizes. Rs 1.75 lakh will be offered as cash prize on entry tickets for the visitors to the fair. An International Food Festival with participants from Afghanistan, Bangladesh and different parts of India and also Assam with never before seen Mughlai dishes will be a great attraction for the food lovers.
