Jalukbari Police Caught ATM Thief Red-Handed at Maligaon

GUWAHATI: The Jalukbari police caught an ATM thief – Manas Das (21), hailing from Hajo – red-handed while he was cutting the ATM machine of HDFC Bank at Gate No 3 at Maligaon here on the night of Saturday. While he was caught while cutting the ATM machine, a few of his accomplices waiting outside fled the scene taking the cover of the darkness when the patrolling party (PAPA) reached the spot. A case (1624/19) has been registered in this connection at Jalukbari police station.
