Jumbo Wreaks Havoc in Panjabari Area of Guwahati

GUWAHATI, Sept 14: A wild elephant created havoc at Bagorbori in the Panjabari area in Guwahati on Friday. The pachyderm went to the area in the wee hours, broke a number of walls, gates etc. It attacked a woman, Kaberi Saikia Bora who was out for morning walk. She is under treatment in a private hospital in the city. When called, officials from the Forest department came and chased it to the Amchang Reserve Forest.
