Guwahati: The Kamrup District Administration has issued a fresh order on Friday, wherein the administration has instructed the closure of all the picnic spots in the district and it will come into effect from today itself i.e. January 21 onwards.

Popular picnic places include Ukiam, Kulsi, Chandubi, Baregaon, Rani Khamar, Kopili, Kedar, Dirgeswari, Madan Kamdev, Malang Sildubi (Houhuapara), and some others within the district have been mandated to close down with immediate effect.
