Kamrup Metro DC Pallav Gopal Jha focuses on e-governance

GUWAHATI: To bridge the gap between the administration and public and to bring both closer, Kamrup Metro Deputy Commissioner Pallav Gopal Jha has directed all departments to focus on the use of e-governance.

In a meeting held at the DC office on Wednesday, the Deputy Commissioner asked Additional Deputy commissioner Dhrubajyoti Hazarika to ensure Internet facilities in all departments and also appoint nodal officers. The DC also had a meeting with departmental officials to take stock of the progress of the land acquisition process for various projects in the district. He discussed the solutions to various issues faced by the department during the land-acquisition process.
