Kamrup Metro DC Pallav Gopal Jha visits Tetelia Agro Organic firm

GUWAHATI: Kamrup Metro Deputy Commissioner Pallav Gopal Jha accompanied by ADC Gauri Sankar Das visited the Tetelia Agro Organic Producer Company Limited at Sonapur on Wednesday.

The two officials were shown various valuable foodstuffs produced in the plant-like cocoa, areca nuts and palm oil.

The Deputy Commissioner also interacted with the farmers. The duo also visited the biogas plant and the drip irrigation system at the plant which has been set up with the assistance of the Public Health Engineering Department and Agriculture Department respectively.

The Deputy Commissioner and the ADC later visited the Neer Nirmal Pariyojana project site at Gumoria being constructed under the Jal Jeevan Mission. The deputy commissioner interacted with officials and contractors of the public health engineering department and directed them to finish the works by December.
