Kamrup Metro District Administration to Check Prices of Fertilizers
The Kamrup Metro District Administration along with the Agriculture Department will conduct joint drives from Monday at wholesale shops and production companies of fertilizers and pesticides to prevent hike in prices of such products.

GUWAHATI: The Kamrup Metro District Administration along with the Agriculture Department will conduct joint drives from Monday at wholesale shops and production companies of fertilizers and pesticides to prevent hike in prices of such products.
In this regard, Kamrup Metro Development Commissioner Nibedan Das Patowary held a meeting with manure production companies and sellers, at the conference of the Deputy Commissioner on Saturday. During the meeting, Das said that the farmers must get quality fertilizers and pesticides at the appropriate price. The meeting was attended by representatives of Indian Potash Limited, Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation Limited, among various other companies.
