Kamrup (Metro) Excise department seized 5,000 IMFL bottles during anti-CAA protests

GUWAHATI: The Kamrup (Metro) Division of Excise department seized 5000 IMFL bottles at Khanapara in between December 13 & 16 when the curfew was clamped in the city following anti-CAA protests that turned violent. The bottles worth Rs 6 lakh were suspected to have brought to the city from Meghalaya. One person was arrested in this connection under the Section 41 of Assam Excise Act.
