Karbi Development Council formed for Karbis living outside KAAC

GUWAHATI: The Department of Welfare of Plain Tribes & Backward Classes issued a notification on Friday about the formation of the Karbi Development Council for the Karbis living outside the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC).
In the 32-member Council, Ranjit Rahang has been appointed as the chairman and Dilip Taro has been appointed as vice chairman.
