Krishak Sramik Unnayan Parishad, Assam  condemns baton charge on differently abled, to approach High Court

GUWAHATI, Oct 7: Krishak Sramik Unnayan Parishad, Assam (KSUPA) has come down heavily on the State Government and the police of resorting to baton charge on differently abled protesters at Last Gate in Guwahati recently. Vehmently condemning the police highhandedness on the differently abled, the Parishad president Pradip Kalita said that genuine agitation cannot suppress by letting loose atrocities. He said that the political heavyweights are not ashamed to woo voters before election but they are ashamed to come forward to meet protesters during agitation. He also said that the Parishad has decided to approach the High Court on the said atrocities in the interest of justice to the differently abled. On the other, the Parishad would launch an indefinite hunger strike from Oct 13 demanding justice, the Paishad president added.
