Kuki Students Organiztion Celebrates Silver Jubilee In Guwahati

GUWAHATI: The Kuki Students Organisation, Guwahati celebrated their 25th years of the organization here in Guwahati. The organization was formed in the year 1994 by the then students drawn from various parts of the Northeast India. The event also welcomes the new students who have joined various institutions in the city. It may be recalled that many of the students of this organization have prospered in various fields of life in various parts of the country and serving in various department and ministry in the country. The event was graced by LS Changsan IAS, DP Haokip, Lamhao Doungel and Dr Lamkholal Doungel as Chief Guest, Chief Host, Guest of Honour and functional President respectively.

The event also witnessed various cultural performances by the student community. Many of the ex members were also present on the occasion. The students’ organization has been actively involved in various activities for upliftment of the students in the city. The chief guest exhorted the students to excel in all spheres of life and to contribute for the development of the community.
